Haim Raz - Stained glass Artist:
Haim Raz was born in Israel.
His work with stained glass began as a hobby, a wonderful way to experiment with new materials and to explore
a craft that he had always admired. Haim started with simple projects, based on detailed designs and patterns.
As he gained experience and confidence, Haim began relying more on his creativity and imagination, developing techniques
and using designs that he had never seen in any books or journals.
Working with stained glass is a craft that has no limits. Haim may be inspired by the seasons, the holidays or a special event.
When traveling abroad, he always keeps a sketchbook and camera on hand. When he sees an interesting motif or design, he sketch it out,
or take a picture so that he will have a tangible reminder when he returns to his workshop.
Haim became a glass artist by profession relatively late his his life. He was always drawn by the charmed beauty of stained glass,
by its ability to transform light into something magical and enchanting.
His book "The Aspiring Artists Studio - Stained Glass" was published lately by the Sterling Publishing Co. Inc. New York, USA.
